Board of Directors Meeting Minutes – April 6, 2015

Regular Board Meeting
April 6, 2015 @ 5:00 PM
Cambridge Offices

I.) Call to order
Meeting was called to order by Acting President Bill Austin at 5:07 PM.

II.) Roll Call/Certification of Quorum
Present were:
Bill Austin
Rudy Eggenberger
Charlie Pinkham
John Hemmen (arrived a few minutes late due to prior engagement)
Joe Clotzman – Cambridge.

III.) Financial Reports
The financial reports for the 2014 Year and current Year To Date were reviewed and have been made a part of these minutes in their hard copy format. Should any member wish to view these documents they can be requested from Cambridge.

IV.) Old Business
a.) Easement for sign – execution of document
The easement agreement was discussed at length and one error was noted. The attorney is to correct it and then all parties will sign.

V.) New Business
a.) Confirmation of Lawncare.
A Cut Above presented a renewal contract that was reviewed and included no change in service or cost. Approval was given via Email and unanimously affirmed by the Board.

b.) Spring Yard Sale
Bill suggested that Joe reach to Kara to see if she would be interested in spearheading this again. PH2 did not wish to have a sale on the same date.

c.) Newsletter Ideas
Once the yard sale is finalized it should be part of a newsletter to announce it. Further items on the newsletter were – violation discussion and review and the issue of dogs barking and pet waste. Joe and Board will collaborate on this issue and other items to be included.

d.) Sign Maintenance Agreement
Cambridge will draft a proposed agreement for the board to consider.

OTHER: There was a discussion of review of the ARB guidelines and Rules and Regulations. The Board discussed an annual review and at least one clarification was needed in relation to “playground or recreation equipment.” Additionally, foundations of sheds was discussed with the concern that perhaps masonry blocks should also be allowed.

The basketball rim has again been vandalized – no action at this time.
